ITW have today released their Series 48 Switch Designer Kits. Engineers worldwide can use the new Design Kits to experiment with more than 3000 miniature pushbutton switch combinations until just the right rugged and sealed switch is determined for their application.

The Series 48 offers “snap-together” adaptability to speed the design and assembly process. Building on a basic Electro-mechanical or Solid-state switch body, more than 1500+ combinations of mounting styles, terminations, bezels, LED colours (or non-illuminated), momentary or alternate action switching types can be configured, tested and designed in.

The snap-together Series 48 is suited for most outdoor applications, gate entry systems, medical equipment, industrial controls, mass transportation and food processing. It is RoHS compatible and IP67 compliant.
